The Mbu Cultural Tourism Programme
The lodge is a member of the innovative Mbu Cultural Tourism Programme, which is run by the local community. A number of activities are offered as part of the programme, all of which can be arranged for you.
They include:
- Mountain biking: with a professional guide, bikes, helmets etc provided
- Guided walks around the area
- Boating and canoeing on the lake (water levels permitting)
- Cultural tours, village tours and lunches
