Hunza Valley
Hunza valley is located on the left side of Hunza river starting from Hasanabad (50 kilometer from Gilgit) up to Khunjerab pass, bordering in the north with Peoples Republic of China and in the west with Afghanistan. Hunza River divides the valley in two parts: on the right Nagar and on the left Hunza, two rival kingdoms in the past and ruled by two different Mir families.
