Serena Hotels regardless of their location believe in a greener tomorrow for the new generations and work for a clean environment not only in the hotel but also in the cities in which they are located.

A Serena Environmental Society was established a couple of years back at Swat Serena Hotel which works in close coordination with the Environment Protection Society, a Government Agency and the school going children. Different schools send their children to work hand in hand with S.E.S. and have completed a number of Environment related activities. Cleaning of liter in the Public places, cleaning of water tanks which provide drinking water to the residential areas of the city, informative lecturer for the children and planting trees in the different areas in the city are some activities which are undertaken by SES on regular basis.

It is the aim of SES that with the passage of time it will work on more projects which are directly or indirectly related to a neat and clean environment and spread awareness to the masses in general and children in particular, of the hazards of pollution our society is facing and experiencing today.

An off shoot of SES by the name of Serena volunteer’s organization was also established which works inside the hotel. The aim of this society is to grow more trees and plants in the hotel and clean all the public and back of the house areas. This team consists of volunteers from different departments of the hotel and is headed by the Human resource Manager. The team has planted more than 1200 fruit and other plants during the year.
