MISGHAR VALLEY

Misghar is the last village in the Gojal Valley at an altitude of 3,000 meters and 7 km north of Sost the Misgar link road that intersects with the KKH. Misgar territory includes three main rivers Kilik, Mintaka and Dilsung, all of which extend to the borders with China and Afghanistan.

Kalam Darchi Fort (or Fort of the Naked Saint) is reminiscent of the colonial architecture of the region. Built by the British in 1932, the fort is in a strategic location about 5 km upstream from Misgar.
