Breakfast at Lion Rock
A vast hump of volcanic rock, which rises from the plains offering unique views, Lion Rock is so-called because it used to be a favourite lion haunt. Offering them both a vital vantage point and a place in which to bask in the sun, the rock may even have been used by the famous man-eating lions of Tsavo. Today, however, the rock is used exclusively by the Lodge - as an ideal breakfast spot. Setting off early from the lodge, guests can enjoy a gentle game drive enroute to the rock, arriving to find that a full English breakfast has been laid out for them on its summit. This is an utterly unique and unforgettable experience. (Simple bathroom facilities are provided).
