Day 1- Depart Nairobi to Amboseli

Depart and drive to the Amboseli National Park.  On entry into the park, enjoy a game viewing drive en route to the Lodge.

Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park.

Secluded within a grove of acacia trees, the lodge looks out over the golden savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. Close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro

At the centre of ‘Maasailand', the lodge's décor reflects the brilliant primary colours and iconic shapes representative of these legendary warriors. At the heart of the lodge, shaded by palm trees, is a free-form swimming pool; to either side of which stretch the rooms. The rooms reflect a Maasai manyatta theme.

Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in the Park.

Day 2- Amboseli National Park

Full day in the Amboseli with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park.  Look for the elusive kudu, a delicate antelope with long spiralled horns and a beautifully striped body that enables it camouflage among branches of acacia trees and other shrubs.

You may certainly see families of giraffe, herds of zebra and antelope — and if you are lucky, you may spot the rare Serval cat. Elephant are a dominant presence in Amboseli.

Day 3- Amboseli to Tsavo West

Breakfast in the lodge, 0800hrs depart and drive to the Tsavo West National Park to arrive in time for lunch.

Afternoon at leisure to enjoy a swim or relax at the lodge terrace and observe game as they come to drink water in the waterhole in front of the lodge!

1600hrs enjoy a game viewing drive in the vast Tsavo National Park before returning to the lodge in the early evening in time to refresh for dinner.

Day 4 – Depart Tsavo West to Nairobi

Breakfast in the lodge, depart and drive to Nairobi.
