The Bush Dinner
Dining beneath the stars against the background of the African bush is a unique and unforgettable experience. At Lake Manyara, the experience is enhanced by the fact that the lodge has its own al fresco dining area, which is located on the edge of the cliffs of the escarpment with magnificent views across the lake.A gentle stroll along lamp-lit paths takes you to the bush dining area where tables, safari chairs, campfire, hurricane lanterns, bush bar and bush kitchen will already be set up. On arrival you will be invited to enjoy cocktails around the campfire while your selection of meat and fish is prepared on the glowing charcoal stoves (salads, vegetarian options, puddings etc will be transported from the lodge). After dinner, a display of traditional dance, song and theatre is offered.
