Breakfast at the hippo hide
You'll never see breakfast in quite the same light again
Leaving camp in the cool of the early morning, guests take a short game drive before arriving at the hippo hide, which is located on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Here a gentle woodland trail leads to a clearing by the river, which is home to numerous hippos. Greeted with a glass of chilled ‘bubbly', guests can then enjoy a full English breakfast, which is cooked and served beneath the shade of the acacia trees (bathroom facilities are also provided). Guests are then offered the option of taking a leisurely guided walk along the banks of the river. Children over 12-years are welcome.
