The Spa Etiquette
Etiquette
Maisha Spa reserves the right to only permit persons above the age of 18 to enter the spa.
For the consideration of others, we request that visitors keep noise to a minimum.
Cellular phones/pagers and other electronic devices are not permitted within the Spa and Photography is also not permitted without prior arrangement with management.
Reservations
Advance booking prior to your arrival for spa treatments is recommended to secure your preferred date and time treatment.
Your Appointment
You are invited to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to check in, change and enjoy our in-door and out-door relaxation areas prior to your appointment. You may wish to use the sauna, hammam or Jacuzzi which can enhance the therapeutic benefits of your treatment.
Cancelation/Changes
Should you wish to cancel or change your appointment, we require a minimum of 6 hours notice (in advance of your appointment time) so as to allow us to reschedule. We regret that in the absence of the same 50% of the treatment fee will be charged.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, this will limit the time of your treatment, which will end as per schedule, to ensure that the next guest is not delayed. Pre-booked reservations will be release to stand-by clients 15 minutes after the appointment time.
Special Consideration
Please alert your therapist on the following contra-indications:
- High blood pressure or heart condition
- Recent surgery
- Muscle, back or joint injuries
- Pregnancy, epilepsy, diabetes or allergies.
Refund/Exchanges
Treatment packages, membership agreements and products are not refundable once purchased. A receipt will be required for the exchange of products.
Jewellery and valuables
We recommend that no jewellery be worn during your visit to the spa. Personal lockers are however provided; the keys f which are the responsibility of the guest. Maisha accepts no responsibility for the safety of money and valuables of any kind brought into the spa.
What to wear
A robe and slippers are provided. We regret that nudity is not permitted within public areas.
Going into wet areas
If you intend to use the wet areas (hammam, jacuzzi or sauna) please bring your swimwear.
Hydration
We provide fresh mineral water, selected juices and herbal teas for our guests at Juice Bar.
Refund Policy
Treatment packages, programs and products, are non-refundable. Unused portion of the packages are non-transferable or non-exchangeable for another time.
Spa products
Home care products to compliment your treatment are available for your purchase. Your therapist will be happy to provide details.
Gift Certificates
Treat a friend or loved one by giving them an experience they will never forget. Gift certificates are available for use against any spa treatment, packages or retail products. Gift certificates are not refundable and must be presented at the time of treatment. Vouchers are valid for six months from date of issue.
Poolside treatments
Some exclusives treatments are available at your disposal.
Garden side
You will not only enjoy the ancient art of massage, but you will also benefit from the marvelous fragrances from the garden and the sea.
Spa in room
Sharing with us the tranquility of the Spa in your room including a special aromatic bath that will be prepared
for you following your choice of the exclusive Maisha menu.
Spa Boutique
Exclusively products, scented candles, special rare and finest teas are available for purchase in the gift shop.
