Many thanks to the fine staff here who gave us the warm hospitality that any hotel could offer. The restoration of the Shigar Fort is truly remarkable. Credit to the Aga Khan Foundation and all the people of Shigar who contributed. The location of fort is unbeatable, all the best.
Beyond Expectations
The Phrase “handle with care” is most appropriate for a place like this. How difficult it was to unearth the beauty of this old palace, only those can appreciate who have been in this business of having a love for heritage. Recreating history is much easier task than to preserve the old page of historic interest. An effort beyond anyone’s imagination and a symbolic expression of zeal, zest and dedication.
