Snow receives a US$ 2,650 Sponsorship from Kigali Serena Hotel ahead of the 5th Leg of the KCB East African Tour
24 May 2011: Greg Snow, who turned professional two weeks after clinching Kenya’s top amateur championship last August, has received a US$2,650 from Kigali Serena Hotel ahead of the 5th leg of theKCB Kenya Open that kicks off at Kigali Golf Club this week. Snow who is Kenya’s youngest professional is one of the 35 pros who have so far confirmed participation at the tournament.
“I have prepared well, and so are the other pros. I would like to thank Serena Hotels for this sponsorship; without which I would probably not make it to play in Kigali, and I will ensure to do my best to possibly win this tournament,” he said. This was during a breakfast ceremony at Nairobi Serena Hotel that saw The Hotels’ Managing Director Mr. Mahmud Jan Mohamed extend a further US$2,650 for the young professional when the tournament goes to Kampala later in July 2011. “…We are delighted to be associated with Greg. He is a talented young man and we will be glad to extend our sponsorship to Kampala when he goes there. I believe given the support he requires, Greg can go very far in this game…” said Mr. Mahmud Jan Mohamed.
