Serena Beach Getaway Package

I spent two weeks with my family of 6 over Xmas and New Year. What a magical time we all had. The resort is beautiful, the hotel is very well appointed with fabulous Kenyan wooden doors and beams. The food was wonderful and copious and the party on New Years Eve was the best one I have ever been to. Sitting outside under the stars, listening to live music. There was great entertainment at night ( we particularly liked the Karaoke nights! The staff are so kind and polite and our room boys Michael and Peter were exceptional. The pool bar is great and such a nice place to relax, sitting in the pool sipping a cocktail. I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you want winter sun, you can't go wrong with the equator, if you want a fabulous hotel that is great value for money, look no further.

We stayed at this hotel for nine nights during the New Year holiday. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, the gardens are fabulous and the beach stunning.
Most importantly, the staff couldn’t be frendlier and more helpful. Maurice showed us the beautiful butterfly park and tried to spot a bushbaby for us. Refreshing drinks and exquisite food were served by competent and smiling staff. Iddi made awesome Arabic coffee. Front desk staff were always ready to help us with all questions. We felt well looked after by Bessie the driver who took us to Mombasa Old Town and to the airport.

We were in Room 30 which was really a suite with 2 rooms and a veranda right by the pool, overlooking the sea and close to reception. The room was clean, well appointed and really comfortable. The food was good and the location right on the Indian Ocean was excellent. BUT the best thing about Serena Beach is the staff. They couldn’t have been more helpful, more pleasant or more fun. They made a good hotel great.
