A Sanctuary in a busy city The Serena lived to the name as a peaceful oasis for a couple of days exploring Dar. Well tended, generous grounds, a clean and refreshing swimming pool, a varied and delicious buffet and sizeable clean rooms with large comfy beds. The housekeeping staff and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were 7th flr - I liked the relatively low rise, sympathetic building design. Steer clear of the big international brand names and try this hotel if you want a central location with proper respite from city bustle.

I’d like to share my appreciation for the wonderful team at the Serena gym. The staff consistently do an excellent job keeping the gym, equipment, and showers spotless and well-maintained. It really makes a difference to work out in such a clean and welcoming environment. A special thank you to the instructor for the professional and motivating training sessions. Your guidance, encouragement, and expertise have made my workouts both enjoyable and effective. Thank you all for your dedication and for creating such a positive experience every time I visit.

the staff are always helpful and competent. Rooms are always well maintained & staff are attentive to your needs. The food is of good quality & quantity. The GM Charles MBUYA is always there, smiling and attentive to yours needs. He's a quality "MAN" whom I've had the opportunity to greatlyappreciate & congratulate him on the management of this hotel Serena . Many thanks .

Lovely staff ( Rosina at reception) , good rooms , superb breakfast! Great pool and gym facilities, sauna and steam room. A great hotel for a stopover , as well as did.
