Night at Ngorongoro Crater

Amazing views of the crater! This lodge was luxurious, with balconies overlooking the crater, friendly staff, comfortable beds, warm showers with great pressure and a welcome basket of fruit. The lodge was very busy (peak season), including some larger tour groups, which meant the bar and restaurant were very crowded but staff were attentive and provided excellent service

Ngorongoro Serena Hotel Excellent

We stayed here as part of our safari trip in Tanzania. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the edge of the crater with superb views. The welcome on arrival was excellent, the staff very attentive, helpful and always smiling. The food was excellent and there was entertainment each night.

Wonderful Stop on Safari

Stayed here for 2 nights during our safari. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was delicious. Both nights, Erick, the manager came by to ask us about our stay. Zuhara and Sophia greeted us in the dining room every day and were so friendly and nice. Salvatory also did a great job keeping our coffee cups full in the morning.

Really stunning lodge with a view...

Really stunning lodge with a view of the Crater. We got a a little view of the sunrise between the clouds. I've never stayed anywhere like this. I cant say how it compares to other lodges in the Crater, but it was lovely. The staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were great, definitely Western oriented.

One of the most impressive hotels...

One of the most impressive hotel I have visited. The location is spectacular and the view from the bar area is breathtaking. Food is good with a beautiful buffet. Personnel very pleasant. A must in Tanzania

The view from the room...

You will be harder pressed to find a more spectacular view from your room ANYWHERE in the world - and the food, the people, and the location are simply amazing too. It's one heck of a drive to get up there, but once you do you will not be disappointed. Very happy!

Outstanding

A huge thank you to the manager and staff for looking after 16 Australian photographers who stayed in early June. The view from our rooms was nothing short of spectacular. The restaurant staff rearranged tables to fit 16 to sit together..The food was brilliant..after a huge day down the crater having an traditional music show was a delight. We hope to stay the 2 nights next time.
