Luxury Rooms and Huts in Hunza Valley
Serena Altit Fort residence features 16 beautifully appointed rooms including 1 Executive room, 4 Standard Rooms and 11 Valley View Huts. All rooms and huts are equipped with modern amenities designed to provide the utmost in comfort and luxury, ensuring a tranquil experience for our guests every time.
The Royal Garden Residence, the former residence of the son of Mir Jamal Khan of Hunza, was built at the time of the restoration of the Altit Fort. Traditional construction techniques, including use of stone, wooden beams and limestone instead of concrete, were used to allow it to blend seamlessly with the surroundings. The furnishings in the 5 rooms utilize indigenous wood and materials, hand-woven local textiles and traditional woodcarvings of the area. The common areas are appointed with heritage artefacts of the Mir’s family and offer serene views of the KhaBasi garden and surroundings. These original features create welcoming spaces, connecting the guest to the culture of the locals and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
The Valley View Huts situated at the edge of the Royal Garden, are designed to offer an utterly unique experience, offering stunning views of the valley amidst the soothing sounds of the gushing Hunza river below. Each hut features king size beds and premium bedding, heating and cooling facilities, minibar, free wireless Internet, flat-screen HDTV with cable and satellite programming and an attached luxury bathroom with running hot water.
Standard Room Huts
The Standard room Huts at Serena Altit Fort Residence offer a private and peaceful retreat with sweeping views of the Hunza and Nagar Valleys. The property is designed for leisure stay and doensn’t feature formal meeting facilities however, it can be considered for corporate retreats, small informal meetings and small scale outdoor events.
