Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti (Kirawira Serena Camp)
Morning:

  • Transfer: Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and transfer to Arusha Airport.
  • Flight: Scheduled flight from Arusha to Kirawira/ Grumeti Airstrip, enjoying breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti.
  • Arrival & Transfer: Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and transfer to Kirawira Serena Camp.

Afternoon:

  • Lunch: Arrive at the camp in time for a delicious lunch with stunning views of the Serengeti.
  • Game Drive: Embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains and spotting wildlife such as lions, elephants, and giraffes.
  • Park Fees: Entry + Concession Fees included.

Evening:

  • Sundowners: Enjoy a sundowner experience in the park, watching the sunset over the Serengeti.
  • Dinner: Indulge in a gourmet dinner at the camp, followed by relaxation around the campfire.
  • Accommodation: Kirawira Serena Camp (Full Board) with selected drinks & laundry service.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
Early Morning:

  • Game Drive: Start the day with a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active. Spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the hunt.
  • Breakfast: Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast.

Mid-Morning & Afternoon:

  • Optional Activity: Relax at the camp or opt for a guided nature walk to learn about the local flora and fauna.
  • Lunch: Enjoy a picnic hamper lunch with selected drinks in the heart of the Serengeti.
  • Game Drive: Continue exploring different areas of the park, tracking wildlife movements and enjoying breathtaking landscapes.

Evening:

  • Sundowners: Unwind with sundowners in the park, soaking in the beauty of the Serengeti. (Optional: Split game drive – morning & afternoon)
  • Dinner: Enjoy a fine-dining experience at the camp, followed by storytelling around the fire.
  • Accommodation: Kirawira Serena Camp (Full Board) with selected drinks & laundry service.

Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha
Morning:

  • Breakfast: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and check-out.
  • Transfer: Depart from Kirawira and transfer to Kirawira/ Grumeti Airstrip.
  • Flight: Scheduled flight from Kirawira/ Grumeti Airstrip to Arusha Airport.
  • Transfer: Upon arrival, transfer back to your hotel in Arusha.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay!

One of the older camps in Serengeti and on the western side of the park, which is a lot quieter than the main central area. Very friendly, personable and helpful staff, who made an effort to learn and remember all our names. The tents are spacious, secure, and the views are amazing. Good food, great service, peaceful location. We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay!

Unforgettable stay

A really special place to stay with old colonial vibes. The rooms are perched up on wooden stilts and contain an old fashioned four poster bed, old wooden cabinets yet luxury shower and double bathroom sink. The food was exceptionally good and the service was magnificent. Animals coming up the pool was so cool and the view over the Savannah was unforgettable

One in a lifetime experience and the tent was nicer than my house!

Once in a lifetime experience to lodge in a luxurious tent right in the bush. There are no fences so animals are free to wander the property and you are escorted by a ranger to and from your tent during dark hours. Flashlights are provided as well as a panic button on your headboard to call security in case of an unwanted animal. The pool was beautiful. The food was wonderful. The staff too notch. The tent was nicer than my house!

Kirawira was a highlight of of Tanzania trip.

Tents have never looked so amazing, we were in tent 12A. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. The tents are beautifully decorated with a lovely bathroom. There was a variety of food and everything we had was delicious. Lots of great wildlife in the area. We would definitely come back here again.
