As the finest and most exclusive of the Serena safari properties, we offer an experience beyond compare surrounded by the majesty of Serengeti National Park’s famous Western Corridor.
Our camp features 25 beautifully appointed luxury tents with spectacular views of the plains. With elegant dining tents in Edwardian-styled dining furniture and staff attired in the classical Colonial ‘mess' uniform of white Swahili robes. A central meeting tent evocatively furnished with a tasteful selection of chintz-covered chaise lounges, Persian rugs, antique escritoire, wind-up phonograms and leather-bound travelling cases.
An abundance of discoveries await with game drives to see the Serengeti’s “Big Five”. Witness the “Greatest Wildlife Show on Earth,” the annual migration of over one million wildebeest, or view crocodiles in the Grumeti Reserve.

Evoking the elegant safari camps of the early 20th century, our 25 splendidly appointed tents are raised on timber platforms and arranged in a manner to maximise privacy. Step past the furnished deck to find yourself in a bedroom steeped in Edwardian charm with steamer-trunks, writing desks, brass lamps, rugs, sepia photographs and four-poster beds with patchwork quilts.
Exquisite bathrooms feature carved mahogany furniture and classic black-and-white tiled floors along with a separate flushed WC, a shower, twin marble basins and hot and cold running water. As an added little luxury, enjoy the personal attention of your very own valet to see to any request.

Sophisticated Dining in The Serengeti
Watch the sunrise with a cup of fine coffee or tea on your private balcony. Indulge in choice cuts of meat in our dining tent or an English breakfast or sundowner cocktails in the bush. Top off an evening with cocktails by the fire pit.
Our elegant twin dining tents are appointed with Edwardian-styled furnishings, sprung floors, crisp-starched napery, delicate blue and white china and weighty silver accoutrements. Meals are served by staff attired in the classical Colonial mess uniform of white Swahili robes and turbans.
We offer full English breakfasts and five-course luncheons and suppers comprising delicate soups, lavish roasts, classic salads, homemade sorbets, local cheese boards and fresh-brewed Arabica coffee whilst the extensive wine cellar reflects the best of both European and South African choices.
Our restaurant caters to any special dietary requirements our guests may have.
Bush Breakfast
One of the classic safari highlights, the bush breakfast is an experience not to be missed.
Upon arrival, you will be met with a glass of chilled sparkling wine and fresh-pressed orange juice. Our chef will prepare their choice of sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and toast. After breakfast, enjoy a game drive back to the lodge.

Our bush dinner unfolds on the plains during sunset. Begin with sundowners around the campfire, tantalize your taste buds in anticipation of a sumptuous five-course dinner, expertly prepared on the BBQ.

Having drinks whilst watching the sun go down dates back to the time of the great safaris of the 1920s, all of which featured the serving of elegant ‘bush' cocktails against the unforgettable backdrop of the African sunset.
