Lovely 5 Star Hotel

11 of were booked into the Serena for one night. All very good and a beautiful setting above the lake. Huge buffet for food that would suit most people very well and did us proud. Lovely well trained staff who were able to change dollars for local shillings which was very useful. A good choice and everybody in our large group enjoyed it

We really enjoyed staying at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge

We really enjoyed staying at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge on our Safari trip in July 2025. Food was exceptional. An incredible vast view of Lake Manyara from the swimming pool and hotel’s territory. We loved sitting by the fire place in the evenings in the bar area. Excellent access to the game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. We highly recommend staying at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge on your trip.

In harmony with the surrounding

I recently stayed at this beautiful lodge, and it was an amazing experience. The property is in a quiet area, and each spacious bungalow has fantastic views—perfect for enjoying nature from your room. The design mixes luxury with a cozy, rustic feel. One of the best features is the lovely infinity pool, which looks out over the landscape. The water was a bit cold during my visit, but it was refreshing and added to the peaceful atmosphere. Next to the pool is a nice bar, a great spot to relax with a drink as the sun sets. Evenings are special here. Guests enjoy wonderful performances by Maasai acrobats and dancers by the poolside. An experience that is exciting and touching.

Phenomenal view of the Lake, nice hotel, comfortable and cozy

Lake Manyara is a stunningly beautiful lake in Tanzania. Since its close to Ngorongoro and Serengeti most people use it mainly as a transit hub on the way over from Arusha - so did we. The Serena hotel has a fantastic view of the lake, decent rooms and food. Its like all Serena hotels a cozy hotel, focused on enjoying nature. no TVs, local building materials, beautiful gardens and views. Highly recommended for a stopover or to explore the national park Manyara.
