Lovely hotel, with good amenities.... We stayed for a night, wish we could stay longer... The warm swimming pool facing the lake is amazing.... The chef asks for personalization of meals, overall very good quaint refreshing vibes...

We only popped in to this lovely lodge for lunch on our way to Ngorongoro crater. I wished we had booked a couple of nights here as the lodge is in a beautiful location overlooking lake Manyara. There are wonderful gardens and a very peaceful atmosphere. The lunch was delicious and the staff were very friendly

Beautiful intimate and relaxed hotel. Wasn't busy when we went. At night time, security guards are present to walk you to your rooms to avoid any wild predators (who occasionally visit the property to drink from its pools) This lodge has the best view of the pool and lake Manyara I love the rooms which resemble birds nests, round with wooden roofs made from tightly stacked branches (Makuti style) crating a cozy African feel As for the restaurant and lounge area, they consist of handmade wood carvings; and high pointed and exposed wood beams roofs Breakfast is severed till 9:30 am as guest are expected to join safari tours earlier in the morning Best time to visit is end of January, the weather is pleasant and grounds are lush green

The hotel is lovely as well as the view of the pool and the lake from my room. The best part for me was the Serena Experience Journey 2 hour scrub, massage, and facial at the spa with Christina! Exceptional and well priced. Nice to have a little luxury after a few weeks in the bush!
