Great Service The hotel and staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. Everyone was super nice and friendly. It’s definitely a great hotel to stay in Nairobi. Robert Onyango was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. He made our stay so much better. Also Michael Maina helped make our Mara Serena Safari Lodge experience smooth by scheduling airport transfers and offering the hotel hold our luggage that we couldn’t bring to Maasai Mara.

Great place We loved our stay. Though it was short, everyone was friendly and that made our stay memorable. We were surprised by a room upgrade to a suite. It was Fantastic! Very clean and well appointed. Spacious. We booked a 7 night tour through Serena Hotels and by Aloyce in the Nairobi office. All the arrangements were outstanding and far exceeded our expectations!

Positive: Exceeded my expectations! Comfy bed, stylish room, large interiors as well as garden, nice pool, rich breakfast,... But above all: the staff!! Each and everyone is unbelievably nice, obliging, always smiling. Mrs Jane from Cafe Maghreb helped me tremendously!.

Skip's I had an excellent overall, one week experience as a program teacher at a seminar hosted by IHRDC (Boston) at your hotel. The meeting room was too small and cramped for the size of the audience.

We stayed at Nairobi Serena for 2 nights in January and 2 nights in February as the bookends to our safari. The hotel is spacious, comfortable, clean and updated. Staff are friendly and there are many staff around to help. We stayed in 2 different rooms on our 2 stays. Both rooms were very comfy. We preferred the view of the park, but the view on the other side of the building wasn’t bad at all - you see the entry to the driveway and a rooftop that has lots of plantings. The pool was great!! We swam for a while. It’s very clean and the bathrooms by the pool are also very nice. Lots of beautiful bird life at the hotel as well. The grounds are filled with lovely plants. We ate at 3 of the restaurants on site and were very happy with the food. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bottled water is provided in the rooms. The gift shop is really excellent. Lots of locally made items. A couple of nit-picky items: - the second time we visited, the room was made up into 2 twin beds (instead of the king we had requested). Housekeeping quickly changed us to a king bed. No problem. - the door to the bathroom always seems to be in the way. Seems a poor design. Definitely recommend this very nice hotel

I needed some quiet and calm and that was precisely what I got. The room was so cute and homey. It was a wholesome experience. Serena is so serene, the service and responsiveness is exquisite. I would 100% recommend and return.

It was a lovely experience, I enjoyed my stay. The service from Brian and Mikwa was tremendous. Looking forward to coming next when I am in Nairobi.

Excellent service throughout. High standard of house keeping and very comfortable room. I have been coming here for many years on work trips and whilst I’m tempted to try somewhere elsewhere, i worry it won’t be better than the Serena. Now their membership programme has changed let’s hope my visits will get credited to it as this didn’t happen in the past.

Had a great stay. Was in the hotel for 3 nights. Upon arrival was swiftly seen and sorted. Reception staff are all very friendly and give out good advice. The bar staff are worth their weight in gold. Angelica and Vincent looked after me - never let my glass go empty - be that water in the day or something stronger at night! I'll be back for work in the future and hope to run into them again!

Positive: Very helpful staff who went above and beyond every time! Wake up call was accompanied by code to the room. I missed lunch one one day, but they provided a late meal to compensate. Staff were sincere and really treating to make their hotel the best. In my opinion it is the best. Fantastic work from all the staff. A great place to stay.
