Maputo Heaven

Stayed in this majestic hotel during the last part of my June/July 2024 Mozambique trip. It was absolutely stunning! The view was incredible and funny fact: the President of Timor Leste (East Timor) was staying in the same hotel on my exact floor. It was very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent! The pool and spa was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place!

Definitely worth staying at..

Positive: It’s a beautiful Grand Dame with so much glamour and a lot to offer. It just makes you feel happy from the moment you walk in. The staff are wonderful, the views are stunning, the rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and amazing. The pool area is great and it definitely is a hotel worth staying at. Could definitely spend 3 days there relaxing. The grounds are also kept so beautifully.

Lovely Old Hotel

Positive: Beautiful hotel with loads of history. Big rooms with everything one needs. The breakfast is outstanding - so many options. There was a slight mix up with our collection at the airport, so they upgraded us to a suite, which was very kind.

Beautiful & Wholesome

Positive: The hotel location is perfect with stunning views; my partner and I were moved to the ocean facing room and it was breathtaking. We received such great service from Buque, from the concierge department. He was so helpful and friendly and showed exceptional customer service. Negative: Nothing. Everything was just amazing.

Beautiful scenery

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, with rich history and interesting reads on the walls. We enjoyed all of our meals and wish we could have stayed longer. We really enjoyed the proximity to local restaurants as well. I agree with prior posts… ask to stay in the main building if possible.
