Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our Representative and transfer to Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Enjoy the hotel facilities that include the celebrated Maisha Spa & Health Club.
Day 2: Nairobi to Tsavo West
Depart after breakfast and drive to Tsavo West National Park to arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch and check in.
Lunch in the lodge followed by an afternoon at leisure to enjoy the facilities that include a swimming pool.
16:00hrs enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive at Tsavo West National Park
Day 3: Tsavo West National Park
Full day in Tsavo West with morning and afternoon game viewing drives at 06:30hrs and 16:00hrs, respectively.
Some of the interesting areas to be visited are the Mzima springs, Roaring rocks, Chaimu and Shetani Lava sites to mention a few.
This evening enjoy a Sundowner Cocktail at a location within the park as you mesmerise at the breathtaking views of the Tsavo and the African sun as it goes to sleep!
Day 4: Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli
Depart after breakfast in the Lodge and drive to Amboseli National Park to arrive in the early afternoon for check-in at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon at leisure to relax and soak-in magnificent views of the park from your room Veranda/Lounge or enjoy a swim in the lodge’s heated swimming pool.
Enjoy afternoon game-viewing drives in the park before driving back to the lodge in time to refresh for dinner.
Day 5 – Amboseli to Nairobi & Onward to Masai Mara
08:00hrs After breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to Amboseli Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi departing at 09:05hrs to arrive at 09:50hrs.
On arrival in Nairobi, the airline staff will assist you to connect your onward flight to Massai Mara Game Reserve departing at 10:00hrs to arrive at 11:00hrs.
You will be met on arrival at Mara Serena Airstrip by your Lodge Driver Guide and proceed to Mara Serena Safari Lodge for check-in.
Lunch in the lodge followed by an afternoon at leisure.
At 16:00hrs, depart for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 6 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives daily in the Reserve.
Hippo Pool Breakfast
This morning, crown your game viewing experience with a Bush Breakfast by the Mara River Hippo Pools! One cannot resist the charming “Jambo” from the chefs and Masai warriors as they welcome you to our wonderfully set breakfast buffet of cold cuts, fruits, cereals, and hot dishes with eggs made to your specifications as you wait. The hippos keep you company and only say “Kwaheri” (goodbye) after you have had enough.
Oringa Massage
Enjoy a 60-minute massage of long strokes, rolling stick, pressure points and gentle stretching techniques are applied using a Masai Oringa stick. (Oringa is a significant Masai stick for protection and hunting)
Day 7 – Departure
10:00hrs Transfer to Mara Serena Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi departing at 11:00hrs.
12:15hrs Met on arrival at Nairobi Wilson Airport and transfer to Nairobi Serena Hotel in time for lunch in the Café Maghreb Restaurant courtesy of Serena Hotels.
Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home bound flight.
