Safari Itinerary
Day 1– Arusha to Ngorongoro
Depart at 7:30hrs after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro. Descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives.
Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino. It is also a conservation area inhabited by the Maasai tribe.
Picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites on the crater floor.
As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to the Lodge to arrive in time to refresh for dinner.
Day 2– Ngorongoro to Serengeti
After breakfast depart and drive to Serengeti National Park with a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge.
Olduvai Gorge the 'Crater of Mankind' is world famous for the Archaeological discoveries made there by Dr. Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey.
Lunch at Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp.
16:00hrs depart for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 3 – Serengeti National Park
Full day at Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park.
Day 4 – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in the camp, drive to Kirawira Serena Camp enjoying a game drive enroute to the camp.
Lunch at Kirawira Serena Camp.
16:00hrs depart for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 5 – Serengeti National Park
Full day at Kirawira Serena Camp with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park.
Day 6 – Arusha & Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Grumeti Airstrip for your flight to Arusha. You will be met on arrival at Arusha Airport and transferred to Arusha Serena Hotel for a farewell lunch.
Later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your homebound flight.
