Lake Victoria Canoe Trip to a Fishing Village

From the lodge, guests are picked up by the fishermen in their traditional canoes and taken along the shoreline to a nearby village. Here, guests can explore the village while learning about the traditions and cultures of the Sukuma people living at shoreline of Lake Victoria. This activity normally starts in the morning and the cost is USD $200 per canoe. The maximum number is eight people, and the price will be reduced if the number of people is two or one per canoe. The canoe trip also includes bird watching, both from the canoe and when exploring the village.
