All rates quoted are on a per person basis unless otherwise stated, and are inclusive of the relevant taxes, levies and service charge. These rates are subject to change without prior notice though rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honored. During high season period a non refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night's accommodation will be required to secure your booking.

Where rates are affected by changes in Government taxes, we reserve the right to pass on such increases. No credit can be given for meals not taken for pre-booked accommodation plans which include meals.

We regret that we cannot accept either personal cheques unless cleared in advance of arrival. We are pleased to accept to accept the following cards: Visa, Access/Master Card, American Express, JCB, Senator, Diners International as well as well as proprietary travelers cheques.

CHILD POLICY

Child under 2 years sharing a room with 1-2 adults is accommodated on a complimentary basis, Child 2 to 12 years of age sharing a room with 2 adults is charged 50% of the per person adult rate. If own room is required 75% of the adult rate is charged., Young adult 13 to 17 years of age is charged 75% of the per person adult rate whether sharing or on their own. Please note these rates are not applicable to air flights and park entrance fees.

Outstanding quality

Serengeti’s Serena Safari Lodge is an outstanding retreat, more than only a hotel! Managing director John is not only the head of a team that has „ hospitality“ taken into its heart. John and his team „take care of you like a baby“. The quality of the accommodation, the African character, the quality of the meals and drinks is hard to find anywhere else. The chef in the kitchen made sure that dietary wishes were fully fulfilled. What strives most is the focus of the staff: the guest is the king. Whilst enjoying a sun-downer in or at the pool you watch from top of the hill the scenery of the Serengeti. You better stay 4-5 days, we only had 3 nights

Beautiful hotel in the Serengeti

Beautiful rustic lodge featuring rondavel-style houses, and our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the trees / grassland. Note that there are upper and lower level rooms in each house. This is at a great location in the Serengeti – highlights on our game drives included a hippo pool, lush forests that elephant families traversed and grasslands where we saw all three types of big cats. The staff was friendly and always happy to help, which was appreciated since we had complicated trip logistics. My family and I had an excellent stay overall.

Classy hotel in the center of Serengeti

Great hotel in a central location in the Serengeti. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lodge itself is classy, with all the expected elements: great buffet meals, Maasai dancers, pool, grounds. Special thanks to Esther and Baraka. The only downside was a very pushy employee who was trying to carry our entire groups luggage, and who took too long, and was only doing it for tip. Everything else was great.

Great luxury at the heart of the National Park

Living there it is a pleasant experience. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent meals (including natural juices). People are so king, excellent services! We have spent there the New Year Eve...and it was quite a party!

Perfect service in a very cosy & inviting atmosphere

The lodge is very unique in that animals are able to freely roam about...but not to worry, security is always at hand 24/7 should you come across any on your journey from the room to the reception. In particular the main chef, took great care to ensure all our meals were to our satisfaction. The staff were very warm, welcoming and engaging and Esther in the restaurant was very lovely, making sure we were enjoying our food throughout our stay.
