As of March 18, 2025, Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel has begun an exciting room refurbishment to make your experience even more memorable. We are happy to share that the hotel remains fully open, delivering the world-class hospitality you love throughout this process.

Key Highlights:

  • Guest Experience: : Savor meals at Serengeti Restaurant and Jahazi Fine Dining, unwind at Kibo Bar, and make use of our meeting rooms and Maisha Gym & Spa—all fully accessible.
  • Phased Approach: The refurbishment is split into phases—half the hotel is under renovation while the other half welcomes guests. Construction work occurs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM to minimize disruption.
  • Timeline: This upgrade, led by contractor Mr.Tajinder Karwal, is expected to span approximately one year, unveiling modern, stylish rooms designed with you in mind.
